我们的蒋老师，长得很漂亮，有一双大大的眼睛，飘逸的长发，白皙的皮肤。蒋老师不仅长得漂亮，还是一位善解人意的老师，谁遇到不高兴的事，蒋老师就会开导劝解，俨然一位邻家大姐姐。
英语老师还是名副其实的“麻辣教师”，只要有单词不会读，就会被罚站，还要被软尺打。默写错一个单词，就要被罚抄十行。
蒋老师发起火来，就如“火山爆发”，那更是不得了。记得有一次，考试成绩出来了，老师脸色阴沉地走过来，一站到讲台上便呵斥道：“你们这次是怎么考试的？九十分以上没有几人，待会儿试卷发下去的时候，谁没有考到九十分的，就给我站起来。”过了一会，我们班几十个人齐刷刷地站了起来，形成了很壮观的景象。特别是一位同学，考试成绩特差，竟然还说“考了倒数是自己努力的结果”，听到这句话，全班同学都忍俊不禁，蒋老师脸色铁青地走过来，一边敲桌子一边说道：“考试倒数第一是你努力的结果，我让你努力，回家跟你的父母也这么说，看他们是否认可？”一边说一边教棍就打了手心。说着说着，老师的声调变温和了，语重心长地说道：“成绩不是成长的唯一衡量标准，可是我们现在好好学习，是学习本领、学习做人的道理，以后才有能力见识外面的世界”。
蒋老师讲课也很风趣、生动，而且老师经常会和我们互动，会带我们玩一些英语小游戏、人物互换什么的，可有趣啦！我很喜欢上英语课。

whenever bassanio wanted money, antonio assisted him. one day bassanio came to antonio, and wanted antonio to lend him three thousand ducats to marry his lover portia. but antonio had no money on him at that time to lend his friend. so they went together to shylock, the jew, who was a usurer. he was a hard-hearted man, and he hated antonio very much. so he promised antonio at once, but antonio should go with him to a lawyer, and there signed in merry sport a bond, that if he did not repay the money by a certain day, he would forfeit a pound of flesh, to be cut off from any part of his body that shylock pleased. antonio promised. but after bassanio married, antonio’s ship sank, so he had no money to return to shylock. shylock hated antonio so he wanted the pound of flesh. bassanio knew that and took the money twenty times over to save his friend. but shylock only wanted to kill antonio. when there seemed to be no way to help antonio, portia came. she dressed herself as a man who was a lawyer. she contended with shylock on the law court. she persuaded shylock to accept the money but not the flesh. but shylock only wanted to kill antonio; he didn’t accept the money. at last portia found a rip in the agreement. so she saved antonio and shylock got punished.
shylock is a villain, and in our life, we sometimes can barge up against the man like shylock. maybe they want our money or something else. we do not want to come into contact with such men, but not everything is following our wills. if we come up against the villains, we can use our wit to beat t, when we find he is a villain, we must be calm and brave; we mustn’t be panic. we can speak to him and tell him you have no money, and we can make him think that we are weak or a little afraid. then he is relaxed, we can call our relations or the police to help ourselves. or we even can call others for help. others may help us. on the other hand, if others need our help, we should do our best to help them. we must use our wit to fight against the villains.
when we come up against the villains, we must believe that righteousness can always overcome improbity. if we know that, we can see others are helping us and we are helping others who need our help. we are together building a more clear and wonderful world.

When asked such a question: Which is better, to get scores or to get abilities, many students＇ answer like mine would be that to get abilities is better than to get scores. To make it clear, we have to compare the both sides.
Two different aims lead to two different methods and two different results. If we are eager to get good marks, our teachers would take a cramming-duck hand to force us to do much hard work. We have to learn by heart a lot of lifeless knowledge. We have to recite many many poems and texts. We have to carry a heavy school-bag. We have to do much homework after school. All of what we do is merely for a single purpose----to pass examinations. As a result we cannot enjoy any thing. We have no free time. We have no holidays. We have no games and plays. We have no pleasure. We have no childhood. In the end we have no skills or capabilities except some dead knowledge from books. We are not able to wash our clothes. We are not able to cook meals. We are not able to labour in the fields. We are not able to operate machines in the factories. In a word we cannot do any practical work.
On the other hand,if we intend to gain abilities, our teachers will take flexible and varied measures in their teaching practice. They will provide for all the students chances to share equal education and we students are supposed to enjoy all-round development. While we learn knowledge from books, we are showed how to use computers, how to make a radio or recorder, how to make experiments and researches in sciences; how to play the piano or violin,how to sing or dance, how to draw or paint pictures and portraits;how to prepare a dish or how to make bread; how to plant trees and grass, how to go in for farming by means of scientific methods; how to do business and how to keep in touch with others. All in all, we can play an active part in our studies. At last we will master not only book knowledge, but also the other three abilities----living ability, working ability and mabageable ability. Thus, we will serve the people better.
By comparing the two ideas, we can come to a close that the purpose to get scores is far worse than the aim to get vanous abilities. Only when we know well both scientific knowledge and practical skills, can we live happily and work wonderfully in the society in the coming future.
